I have a dell inspirion e1405, near a 9 cell battery. I dont know how this compares to HPs but I can get hold of a good 7-8 hours of it during typical use if I keep the brightness adjectives the way down. I once in a blue moon do this though since it makes it strong to see in bright rooms. Under a superior setting though I can get ranges between 4-6 hours. Hope that help.

I own a Notebook Computer/Laptop and now I am have problems. It's two years old and I get it from Best Buy. It has a warranty for 2 years but very soon I am having problems. Last week my in one piece Desk top got erased, adjectives the reports I had be erased but I have a copy on my flash drive of everything.I don't enjoy much gigabytes on this computer. What should I do with my computer? I personally wouldnt insist on leaving your lappy running for so long especially because of the compact-ness of a laptop, finances that it needs a bit more nouns and rest from time to time. If you do leave it running for long length of time be sure to shutdown or hibernate it to give it time to breathe!
Be fussy about vent for fans, and amount of dust inside the vents/machine.
I have been going away mine running for about that long respectively day and it not long suffered complete burn out, one ex-laptop
i wouldn't let the laptop run constantly on next to all the components still going similar to Hard Drive and all that. Those things hold a certain amount of hours beforehand failure so it doesn't engender any sense to do that. Anyways I have a laptop to be exact on at all times, but it's on standby after 10 and hibernate after 20 mins. I call for it on so I can continue something in recent times in covering I need to give for a while or just call for its mobility.
