how long can i consent to my laptop be switched on for?

i used to consent to my pc maintain running for abt 18 hours a day. can my laptop maintain running for that long too?

I personally wouldnt insist on leaving your lappy running for so long especially because of the compact-ness of a laptop, finances that it needs a bit more nouns and rest from time to time. If you do leave it running for long length of time be sure to shutdown or hibernate it to give it time to breathe!
Be fussy about vent for fans, and amount of dust inside the vents/machine.



I have been going away mine running for about that long respectively day and it not long suffered complete burn out, one ex-laptop
i wouldn't let the laptop run constantly on next to all the components still going similar to Hard Drive and all that. Those things hold a certain amount of hours beforehand failure so it doesn't engender any sense to do that. Anyways I have a laptop to be exact on at all times, but it's on standby after 10 and hibernate after 20 mins. I call for it on so I can continue something in recent times in covering I need to give for a while or just call for its mobility.
I have be running one in my kitchen for 24 months lacking ever turning it off. It does turn into standby, but the switch is not turned off.
There's no problem doing that, have long you dont run it on batteries.
