How do you OVERCLOCK a laptop? it is a sempron 3500+ 1.8Ghz processor. what is max overclocking possible?

Answer:

I would not insist on overclocking a laptop. overclocking requires good cooling, and laptops arent agreed for being low warmth (feel the bottom of it after its been on for 30 minutes.
what does overclock anticipate?
Usually I say avoid over clocking laptops only because they aren't as efficant at cooling as desktops are. And you cant really add any type of watercooling or put a bigger heatsink on. And laptops aren't agreed to run cool in the first place. If you are than be massively careful. Usually the burnout tempature of chips is 55C- 60+C.
DON'T OVERCLOCK A LAPTOP... unless your experience is pious. Heat syncs and coolants will need to be superior so it doesn't overheat and fry the processor.

Take note... in a minute or so the processor can reach warmness of over 100Celsius, the manufactures try to craft the clock as fast as undamagingly possible.
I concur with the previous answers. Don't do it unless you want to buy a brand new laptop.
this is not advisable. tere arnt many associates who'd do this but if you want there be this article at www.extremeoverclocking.com. I think some one overclocked a toshiba
I would not recommend overclocking a laptop as it will run to hot but if you are happy to burn it out budge ahead
It's best not to overclock anything unless you know what you are doing...
