How do you acquire long-term attraction past its sell-by date a laptop?

I by catastrophe put something that had drizzling permanent signpost on the top/front of my laptop. Help!

Answer:

I saw a post from someone on Flickr whose toddler took permanent float to her Powerbook. She used rubbing alcohol and got it past its sell-by date.

Pictures linked below.
ALCOHOL OR OLIVE OIL OR A TEENSY BIT OF ACETONE.
**PERMANET** familiar sight.

sorry :(
Do not...I repeat...do not use acetone...it will eat the plastic on the laptop...highly strong solveant...not for that use...really, once something like perm float is used on plastic...there really isn't anything to do to remove it...stuff close to Goof Off and other strong solveants ruin the plastic it is used on...if anything...I would try mineral spirits and before I tryed that I would nick a little and try it on the bottom of the laptop first to see if it damages and blemishes the plastic earlier using it on the front or visual cut of the laptop!
Try a little bit of vinegar, as long as it is not on the blind. Putting some on the screen may turn it a bit wan.
I just come across a site that sends you a laptop for free! I'm ordering mine right immediately, it's a Sony VAIO and it looks really hot!
if anything maybe paint thinner or solvent. but binding marker does tend to be its namesake. (permanent)
