How do you clear your history on a dell notebook?
Answer:
Go to your control panel: start, settings, control panel and click on Internet option. On the screen that shows up simply click "clear history".
Click start, Control Panel, Internet Options, Delete.
Which history are you referencing? Here are some of the choices:
Windows document history
MSWord document history
IE URL history
Firefox URL history
MSExcel spreadsheet history
Which one?
why are you asking this out of curiousity?
C:Documents_and_settings/
*your_user_name*/Local_setting...
/History:
Delete those files nearby
The same way you do it on a every window computer. FYI Dell runs on windows.
Please be more specific because i am assuming that you want to clear the history of your internet explorer. I also do not know what copy of internet explorer you are using. Generally, go to tools, internet option, and in the standard tab click delete (it is in the browsing history subsection). You are after provided options which you can wish would best suit your needs.
