I basically bought a Jabra BT620s bluetooth headset. It paires fine with my blackberry but I cannot obtain it pair beside my Windows XP SP2 laptop. I hope I don't need to purchase a Bluetooth dongle for it to work. And yes, my laptop come with bluetooth support.

First engender sure, BLuetooth is On in your laptop, and put together sure the bluetooth is in "pairing mode" or within a mode like "searching for other bluetooth devices"... Also try to unpair it from the Blackberry beforehand trying to pair it beside the PC (shouldn't normally be a problem, but we're within troubleshoot mode here so we wanna minimize any and all extraneous interference)
