How do you verbs electronics that you spill cola within?

I hold a friend who spilled cola in their surge protector and the on/off button is sticky and not easy to press. Any idea on how to fix this problem?

Answer:

Well...I'd unplug the serge protector and cart it apart. You may have to verbs the insides of the protector with distilled dampen. Tap water is considered 'hard marine,' and may not clean it in good health enough. Clean the switch beside this as well. Let it sit out over dark to dry before putting it subsidise together.

Don't use a hair dryer to attempt to speed up the process. This can unfreeze the plastic or hard other plastic parts. Some suggest using alcohol to verbs it, since it drys faster. I'll leave that to you.

But, it's a devout idea to undo the protector and clean it, so that you find rid of all the cola that may still be inside.

Here is a correlation of how to fix this problem on a laptop, I'd imagine it's remarkably close to your problem:

There is a electrical switch cleaner spray that you can buy from people approaching Tandy or Maplin. It should clean it up OK.
