Yes they debilitate eventually and there's nothing you can do to stop it ! only a few tips to extend it!
they last give or take a few 600-1000 charges
I have found around 2 yrs.. It is important to cycle (fully charge afterwards fully use) in command to extend life.
mobile cells dry..give or take a few 1 1/2years tops
in my experiance they ultimate at 100-95% capacity for 18-24 months after drop off dramaticaly.
appendix: about cycling (full charge/full use) - i.e. no longer required for most modern batteries (anything worth its saline made withint he past couple years). but if you own an older laptop its worth doing.
yes and they are never close to they are suppose to be..there is no laptop mobile in the world that really closing over an hour or two if you aren't using the dvd or cd.. its not just dell its every freestyle, I bought two different 12 hour batteries guess what they finishing about an hour and no dvd usage ..They of late haven't manufactured a battery that can really second that long.
Well it depend on your usage don't use your laptop more than 3 to 4 hours a day okay u can use it after a hour again because it need to cool down
