how do you copy a cd onto floppy?

i hold ubuntu os on cd but i need it on floppy, how do i do this?

Answer:

The record is too big!

Just run your boot from the cd
U cant, the floopy drive can only store for roughly speaking 2MB of memory
it will be copied if it is less than 1.44 mb
hey you can't

the disc capacity is 700 MB

the floppy dimensions is 1.4 MB
u might be looking for the boot disk of that os, not the actual operating system itself. try downloaading it.
Reverse Ur Question, Floppy to CD...

but if u r sure buy 488 Floppies to copy unbroken data. I ponder u r tring to maek boot cd of Ubuntu. Refer their website for this.
Your file that is to say on CD must be smaller quantity than 1.44Mb otherwise it can't be transferred, the capacity of the floppy disk is greatly limited.

CD-ROM storage dimensions is 700Mb

3.5" Floppy Disk storage capacity is 1.44Mb

It's close to trying to pour a pint into a thimble.
you cannot copy your OS on floppy because its size is too large
you can,t put 700mb of info on a 1.44 mb floppy, you can put it on a usb drive, if you turn out the linux sites, some are selling pendrives preloaded with linux distros for around 60$
